Service Description
NRA Basic Pistol course is available in two ways. One option is the traditional, instructor-led course where you will receive direct instruction from a Sincerely FIT NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end. The other option has two components: a self-study or eLearning module, which is completed online in your timeframe and a hands-on practical portion conducted in a classroom and shooting range with an Instructor. Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification to meet requirements for carrying concealed weapons license (CCW). Focus areas within this course include: • Review of Blended Learning Skills (for option two only) • Gun Safety Rules • Proper Operation of Revolvers & Semi-Auto Pistols • Ammunition Knowledge & Selection • Pistol Selection & Storage • Shooting Fundamentals • Pistol Inspection & Maintenance • Basic Marksmanship • Shooting Range Safety Class Prerequisites: • U.S. Citizen or Authorized U.S. Permanent Resident • Twenty-one (21) Years of Age or Older Equipment and Supplies Required: • Firearm • 100 Rounds of Ammunition (minimum) • Eye & Ear Protection Designed for Shooting Sports • Pen & Paper
