IDS Apex Pistol Craft

Service Description

The IDS APEX Pistol Craft course is designed to do one thing and one thing only, save your life and the lives of others. The Pistol Craft program will teach you extreme close-quarters combat skills in an everyday environment that usually is not considered live-fire accommodating. The course will prepare you to overcome real-world threats and provide you with the tools to deal with a dynamic critical incident. There is NO live fire handguns or ammunition used for this class. Focus areas within this course include: • Handgun Fighting • Firearm Retention • Presentation from Ready & Holster • Drawing From Concealment • Stance & Movement • Target Acquisition & Transitioning • Reloading & Malfunction Drills • Shooting on the Move • Family Member Protection Concepts Class Prerequisites: • U.S. Citizen or Authorized U.S. Permanent Resident • Twenty-one (21) Years of Age or Older • Valid Pistol License Equipment and Supplies Required: • Gun Belt (loop size: up to 1.75″) Course Description: • Four - 4 Hour Sessions Over 4 Month Period NO LIVE FIRE HANDGUNS OR AMMUNITION USED IN THIS COURSE.
